Obama

Obama’s Kenyan grandmother was very happy about her grandson’s victory, and wanted to bring traditional African attire. Sarah Hussein, Barrack Obama’s grandmother, wanted to bring a traditional African spear and shield. After president Obama’s inauguration she attended an unofficial inauguration ball with other Kenyan leaders.
I am proud of obama and happy for his grandmother. Fifty years ago whites and blacks could not sit in the same restaurant, and now there is a Kenyan American president. We have come so far as a people

Child Labor

Child labor laws affect children all over the world and need to be addressed. In Kenya lower class families have their kids to venture out to wealthier Kenyans for jobs. Sounds like any young teen looking for work but it’s not. The children are often under ten and some are even performing sexual acts. All this for food, shelter, and schooling, we must get involved. We sit back and think how terrible, but to these kids it’s everyday life.
Us as Americans hope the best for these poor African children, but will do nothing to stop it. Child labor is wrong in every way, and must stop. I had a great childhood, and I could only image how bad it would be with labor. If this article does not make you hate child labor, begin hating it now.

Kenya’s Abortions

Kenya has laws that are not yet clear to some Kenyans. It is the practice that is very controversial all over the world. This practice is abortions. Some of Kenya’s women are going through extreme measures to get abortions. Nairobi women are going through process such as sticking objects like pins, needles, knives, and just about anything they can find to exterminate the fetuses. Some women are going to back-street doctors and dumping the fetus into a town stream. A watchman was said to have spotted 15 fetuses in a town stream. These abortions are killing the unborn Kenyans as well as her women.
This article struck me on so many different levels. Most western civilizations find this practice to be a disgrace, murder, and even blasphemy against God. I personally agree. These women do not realize this affecting Kenya’s youth. These children did not ask to be formed, so why must they kill them? These embroils have the potential to grow up to be future doctors and lawyers. Please do not kill mother Kenya’s future.
